As a board member, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by guiding the strategic direction of our organization and ensuring the success of our programs. Your experience in leadership, finance, marketing, fundraising, advocacy, or other areas can help us expand our reach and enhance the services we provide. Additionally, you will build valuable relationships with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to our mission.

ADULT DISABILITY AND AUTISM SUPPORT IN CONNECTICUT
Many people with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, or Autism need a supportive living environment. Journey Found is proud to provide a wide variety of residential living options for adults with Autism. Some people choose to live in a small group home of peers while others choose greater levels of independence. All of our residences are located in active Connecticut neighborhoods, with nearby shopping, parks and restaurants.
At Journey Found, we provide developmental and intellectual disability services. The people we support receive a full range of adult disability support services to meet their unique needs – from daily care to educational and vocational programs to behavioral services. Living with family
Journey Found enables families to better care for their special needs loved one in the comfort of their own homes.
Our team includes Clinical Behavioral Specialists, other health professionals, and compassionate care givers. Each member of the team works together with families and guardians to build a personalized support plan, ensuring all aspects of daily life are addressed.
Living independently
Journey Found provides residential living for adults with Autism, empowering them to live as independently as possible. Our comprehensive approach to adult disability support offers adaptive strategies, emotional support, meaningful engagement, assistive technology, and planning that addresses challenges and promotes independence.

The mission of Journey Found is to provide behavioral, residential and other support services to individuals throughout Manchester, Bloomfield, Groton, Hartford, Niantic, South Windsor, Stonington, Newington, CT, and the surrounding areas with pervasive developmental disabilities and intellectual disabilities to enable each to become all they are capable of being.
