Movers & Shakers is Journey Found’s virtual self-advocacy group where voices are heard, leaders are developed, and communities are strengthened. This welcoming and inclusive group empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, learn about their rights, and advocate for themselves and others.

Through meaningful discussions, educational opportunities, guest speakers, and peer connections, participants explore topics such as self-determination, community inclusion, employment, relationships, accessibility, and civic engagement.

Everyone is welcome! Individuals with disabilities, family members, guardians, support staff, peers, advocates, and professionals from other agencies are invited to join us in creating a stronger, more inclusive community.

Our mission is simple: to empower individuals to speak up, lead, connect, and make a difference.
